The over-the-top adventures of Indiana Jones get one thing right – it matters who “owns” the past! Join Dr. Robert Cook to explore how the past is used to shape the present.

In this talk, Dr. Robert Cook, from the OSU Department of Anthropology, will focus on the political and ethical issues around ownership, interpretation, and use of archaeological sites and reveal the power these places have to reshape our contemporary world for the better.
