Teen volunteers will earn service credit by coaching an elementary school “buddy” in reading and playing games, helping them to grow confident and excited about reading. For students in grades 6-12.
Please arrive at 6 PM if first time volunteering at Book Buddies. Returning volunteers can arrive at 6:15 PM.
Our Miller Park Branch is located in Old Arlington in an historic building, which was expanded and remodeled in 2007. In addition to our adult and youth collections, we provide access to the UAPL’s entire collection, internet access, youth programs, and a Journey-themed children’s area.
