Birding is for Everybody
with Birdability
Saturday, October 26
8:30am - 10:00am
This bird walk is designed to be inclusive of all people regardless of developmental, neurodiverse, or physical differences, because birding is for everybody and every body!
Birdability Captain, Sheila M. Fagan will guide us as we observe and identify birds by sight and sound, along the edges of Thompson Park.
Details:
- The path is paved to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers.
- There are benches along the way for anyone who may want to sit and rest.
- Sheila will use a microphone to help make her voice easier to here.
- The library will be closed during this time, but a staff member can let you in if you need to use the restroom.
- Novice to advanced birders are welcome, as are children.
- Bring binoculars if you have them, but they are not required.
