Are you intrigued by the decorative mending trend? Want to learn how you can return that favorite-but-torn piece of clothing to wearability? Jackie Farbeann will teach you how!
The current trend of fast, disposable fashion uses a lot of resources and is very damaging to the environment. Repair and reuse of clothing is much more sustainable, and visible (or decorative) mending takes it to the next level. In this 2 hour workshop you'll learn the basic stitches and techniques required to create beautifully mended clothes.
Instructor, Jackie Farbeann, has a background in theatrical costuming, is a certified Textile Conservator, and teaches sewing and mending at the Sewing Hive.
