Join us for a cozy hour of winter-themed short stories, hot beverages and kirigami paper snowflakes.
Writer Kate DiCamillo described what happens during storytimes this way: "You feel cocooned, almost. It’s kind of like everybody puts down their defenses and you’re together in the story.” Adults deserve that wonderful experience too, and what better time than a winter afternoon. Our Sue Hutson Reading Room is a pleasant space with large windows and comfy chairs that will be filled with the scents of warm cocoa and tea for this program. If you enjoy crafting, we'll also have kirigami paper snowflake templates that you can cut while you listen (or take with you to do later).
Our knowledgeable staff specialize in Adult, Youth, Reference, Media, Computer, and Outreach Services to meet the diverse needs of our patrons.
