Ancestry.com is one of the best known genealogical databases. It can be expensive to use. Libraries have access to a free version called Ancestry Library Edition. This version allows researchers to access most of the basic collections and some of the more expensive ones. This class will explore ways to use both editions to their fullest. Also, we'll talk about some tips and tricks to help get the best results.

Julie Callahan has a master’s degree in library science and is a retired librarian and genealogist. She worked for the Columbus Metropolitan Library for 33 years as one of their Genealogy Specialists. Since retiring she continues to share her extensive knowledge by teaching genealogy to others.
