Meeting Room REDWOODIn this generative writing workshop, we’ll explore how to write using all five senses, how to determine what details to include/leave out, and how to create emotional resonance for your reader.
As writers, our goal is to ensure readers forget they're reading. Through guided prompts and revision strategies, you’ll leave this workshop with a better understanding of how to integrate sensory detail in order to write immersive scenes in any genre.
Instructor bio: Jen Knox is an educator and storyteller who leads workshops on writing, leadership, and meditation. After teaching writing for over a decade and managing a leadership program at The Ohio State University, Jen began to combine meditation techniques, leadership research, and the power of creativity to launch Unleash Creatives, a holistic arts organization.
