Join us on a year-long journey, or just for this month. In April, to mark Arab-American History month, Dr. Hoda Yousef will be leading the discussion: The Insult: History's Long Shadow in Lebanon
The month of April continues our year-long journey to learn about our world from the divergent stories that filmmakers of all walks bring to us. This month, watch The Insult, "…a crackling legal thriller that boils down centuries of Middle Eastern conflict into one reckless insult - and lets the sparks fly." - Peter Travers, Rolling Stone.
Then, on April 24th, we will converge for a discussion led by Dr. Hoda Yousef, an Upper Arlington alum who is an historian of the modern Middle East and the Islamic World, focusing on cultural and social history and gender in society.
