Cari Dubiel is a hybrid author and librarian. She is the author of How to Remember (2021), a novel available in independent bookstores and through public libraries, which won the 2017 Hugh Holton award from Mystery Writers of America, Midwest Chapter. Her recent releases include Passageways: Mythos (2023) and The Author's Guide to Libraries (2024). Cari is an active member of Sisters in Crime and a previous Library Liaison for the group’s National board. She is represented by Lynnette Novak of the Seymour Agency and is the lead editor for the co-op publisher Duskbound Books.
