Registered dietician, Julia Orloff is back, and this time she’s bringing her dad, science teacher, Warren Orloff. In this hands-on workshop, they’ll teach the how, what and why of fermenting foods.
Whether you’re interested in learning about the science behind fermentation, the nutritional benefits of fermented foods, or you just want to explore the flavors, this program has what you’re looking for. The Orloff family has been honing their fermentation game for years, and they are enthusiastic about sharing what they've learned. We’ll have samples for tasting, and you’ll get to start the process with some foods to take home to enjoy later.
Julia Orloff, RDN, LD is passionate about helping people nurture their own health through nutritional education. Warren Orloff used to be passionate about helping high school students learn science, but that ended in June when he retired. Now he's free to teach anything that strikes his fancy to anyone who'll listen!
