Mindfully immerse yourself in the restorative power of nature. Your guide, creative mindfulness coach Katy Oberle, will share the multifaceted benefits of intentional time in nature.
Participants will meet Katy in the Sue Hutson Reading Room, where she'll teach about the evidence-based practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) before inviting you outside for a slow-paced, sensory-based walk. Then, enjoy an informal tea ceremony to share your experience with fellow participants and to learn creative ways to integrate mindfulness into your life. This restorative event is perfect for relaxation, rejuvenation, and finding peace amidst life’s busyness.
