Presenter Bio: Rebecca Richardson is a cartoonist and educator inspired by the messes and mistakes she makes every day and the Latin & Caribbean diaspora. She began making comics and zines after her first year of teaching K-12 art in 2022. Since then, Rebecca hasn't stopped! Her work can be found in Fruitslice, Prologue Bookshop, and in little libraries in her neighborhood. In 2024, Rebecca founded Zine Club Columbus, a community-driven group that uses zines to foster collaboration, exchange, and community building. Teaching is her vocation and comics tell the story.
