Join us for an after-hours, 18+ event that captures the nostalgia of a school book fair! Revisit your favorite childhood books, explore current children's literature, and find adult read-alikes.
Do you remember the anticipation you felt the week of your school's book fair? Poring over the flyer to decide which new titles you wanted most, wondering if you'd have enough leftover change to buy a scented eraser or a fancy pen? Celebrate that excitement at our Throwback Book Fair!
In addition to your favorite childhood books, we will have "read-alikes" from the Adult Department, recent middle-grade and YA books we think should be on your radar, and themed displays that will speak to your inner child (yes, there will be horse books).
Come meet local YA authors & hear about their latest titles, "shop" our displays, mingle with other book lovers, and of course, sign up for a library card (it's free!). There will be after-school snacks, a photo booth, and bookish goodies to take home.
This year's featured authors are Debbie Rigaud and Mindy McGinnis!
