About the Speaker
Dr. Graham Dixon is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication at The Ohio State University, where his research sits at the intersection of science, risk, and political communication. Holding a Ph.D. from Cornell University, Dr. Dixon investigates how the overrepresentation of misinformation and polarized rhetoric on social media platforms can undermine democratic participation and complicate public engagement. His published research explores how diverse audiences process information on controversial topics, seeking practical communication solutions to combat digital distortions and bridge societal divides.
