The Franklin County Veterans Service Commission will join us to discuss their mission to advocate for and empower veterans and their families, through resources, financial assistance, and guidance.
The role of the Veterans Service Commission is to see that veterans, their spouses, and their dependent children, as well as surviving spouses of deceased veterans, obtain temporary financial assistance when they are in need. They also assist veterans in obtaining earned benefits from Federal, State, and local government agencies.
