The Ohio Department of Taxation’s Business Tax Division will explain required tax filings and what withholdings small business owners must collect and send in to stay compliant.

Starting a business is exciting! You took an idea and turned it into something real. Whether you run a shop, work from home, sell products, or provide services, there are important tax rules you need to follow to keep your business in good standing.

One of these rules includes withholdings, which are taxes you take out of employee paychecks or collect from customers and send to the state on their behalf. Experts from the Ohio Department of Taxation will explain what withholdings are, when they are required, and how to handle them correctly.

The presentation will also cover required tax filings and deadlines. After the presentation, you’ll have time to ask questions, so you fully understand what applies to your business. This session is helpful for both new and current small business owners.
