Join us for a sensory-friendly early morning before the general public can enter the library. Designed to meet the needs of young visitors who may feel overwhelmed by a typical library visit.

Join us for a sensory-friendly early morning before the general public can enter the library. These mornings are designed to meet the needs of young visitors who may feel overwhelmed by a typical library visit and want to enjoy the youth department and play area in a less stimulating environment. 


During this program, participants can expect:

  • Smaller crowds because there are limited spaces available. 
  • Access to the play space, youth department, and restrooms.
  • Selection of books for one-on-one reading between a caregiver and child.
  • Limited number of sensory-stimulating toys in the Youth Activity Area.

Registration is required to participate.
