Chances are, Artificial Intelligence has already changed your life more than you’re aware. This is true more than ever in the world of shopping. Nowadays, it might be difficult to understand how AI has been incorporated into your shopping experience, what you can do about it, or whether a product you’re looking at online is even real to begin with.

Together, we’ll unpack the intersection of shopping and AI. We’ll take a look at what AI actually is, what it can and can’t touch, and how to recognize it.

Speaker Bio

Ethan Budge is a PhD student at the Ohio State University in the Marketing and Logistics Department. He studies the convergence between AI and Marketing: how AI systems work mathematically, how they can be manipulated, and what these findings mean for everyday consumers. His work has been presented at multiple academic and industry conferences. Prior to beginning his PhD, Ethan worked as an analyst for an advanced market research firm with clients such as YouTube, Playstation, LuLu Lemon, and many others.
