Learn to Use MyChart: An Interactive Walkthrough

In this hands-on MyChart demo, learn how to schedule appointments, message providers, view visit summaries and test results, handle billing, link family access, and keep your account secure.

Discover how MyChart helps you manage your health—safely and easily—on your phone, tablet, or computer. In this hands‑on session, we’ll walk through the MyChart home feed and menus, then cover everyday tasks like scheduling appointments, messaging your providers, viewing visit summaries, checking test results, requesting medication refills, and billing & statements. We’ll also show you how to link account access so trusted family or caregivers can view your health information and provide support.

Security is a priority: learn simple ways to keep your account safe, spot scams or “not‑right” information, and use multi‑factor authentication (MFA)—including FaceID or passkeys—to protect your data.

**Participation requirements**

• You will need to already have created your MyChart account.
• To participate in the demonstration, you may either bring your own device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) or use a library-provided laptop.
• If using a smartphone or tablet, please download the OhioHealth app and sign in to your MyChart account before class so you can join the live exploration on your own device (Apple App Store or Google Play).

Presented by OhioHealth, but applicable to any organization's MyChart.
