There are many different pieces and parts that banks use when considering to lend money to a small business, most of which can be found within the 5 C’s of Credit (character, capacity, capital, conditions and collateral). I will dive into the 5 C’s of credit as it relates to the banks perspective on lending as well as answer any questions surrounding the lending process and any other aspects of the small business banking world.
Speaker Bio:
I am the Financial Center Manager working out of the Upper Arlington office of Heartland Bank. I have been in the banking industry for the past 10 years with my primary focuses centered around small business development and lending on both the business and consumer sides of banking. I work very closely with many local small businesses and non-profit organizations to help serve all aspects of their day-to-day banking needs.
I have been an Upper Arlington resident for the past 14 years and currently live in the Northern part of UA with my wife and two children. I am a board member of the Tri Village Chamber and volunteer at numerous local non-profits including the UA Education Foundation, UA youth sports, I Am Boundless, Wild Goose Creative, The Overwatch Partnership just to name a few.
