Join us for a visit with children and teen author Margaret Peterson Haddix. Ms. Haddix, the creator of the best-selling Shadow Children, Missing, and Greystone Secrets series, is excited to share her newest book, The School for Whatnots. This middle grade thriller delves into the power of privilege, the importance of true friendship, and the question of humanity and identity.
Margaret Peterson Haddix has written more than forty books for kids and teens, including the Greystone Secrets series. Her books have been honored with numerous state reader’s choice awards and the International Reading Association’s Children’s Book Award, and her books have been translated into more than twenty languages.
