A book club for music fans: band histories, musician memoirs, scene chronicles, studio legends, and more.
If you like digging into backstories as much as listening to music, join us on the second Wednesday of every month for a discussion that can include listening to music and watching clips.
Because no one wants to spend time reading a book they don't like, each month we pick a theme and everyone gets to pick their own book to read. If the theme is Music Festivals, one person could read about Woodstock, another Coachella, and another the Montreaux Jazz Festival. Each person will bring something a little different to the conversation, and (hopefully) everyone will leave with another title for their to-read list.
New Meeting Location: Starting in September, we will meet in the Sue Hutson Reading Room at the back of the Adult Department.
