Explore the origins of this publication and how it became the pinnacle of documentary photography.  

In its 130+ year history, National Geographic has become synonymous with education about the natural and cultural world. The first thing that comes to mind when you hear “National Geographic” is the iconic photographs. 

Claire Wiedman is an Adjunct at OSU and has been teaching since 2015. Her areas of specialty include history of photography, photographic theory, and darkroom & digital imaging.
