Register 15 Seats Remaining
Whether you're 3 or 103, you are invited to bring an object that's special to you and share its story. Registration required only for those who want to present.
Elementary school teachers have been using Show and Tell for ages to build a sense of community among their students. Each object becomes a point of connection between the person sharing it and the people hearing about it. So why not use Show and Tell in other settings, among groups that include different generations, cultures, and walks of life? We're doing just that with this program, and we hope you'll join us, either as a presenter, or just to watch and listen.
Unfamiliar with Show and Tell? You choose an object that you love, or that has meaning to you: a favorite toy, a stone you carry around, a treasured book, family heirloom, etc. Everyone who registers will take a turn talking about their object for 2-3 minutes. You can talk about why you love it, how you got it, or how you use it, but what you say about it is up to you, and you can be as creative as you like. We will use our stage and a microphone, but if you are more comfortable presenting from your place in the audience, that's okay too. You are also welcome to present as a team (only one person should register for the team).
